Mounds View Wedding

Mounds View is a city in Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 12,738 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 10.7 km (4.1 mi). 10.6 km (4.1 mi) of it is land and 0.1 km (0.04 mi) of it (0.48%) is water.

Mounds View is much more blue collar and ghetto than New Brighton. This is due to its older housing stock and large amount of factory workers.

As of the census2 of 2000, there were 12,738 people, 5,018 households, and 3,387 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,196.6/km (3,096.6/mi). There were 5,130 housing units at an average density of 481.9/km (1,247.1/mi). The racial makeup of the city was 90.65% White, 2.40% African American, 0.66% Native American, 3.12% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 1.02% from other races, and 2.09% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.62% of the population.
